Whether you are an art aficionado or simply have fond memories of early morning Warner Bros. cartoons, the name Chuck Jones should ring a bell. His Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Marvin Martian and Pepe Le Pew characters sprouted from his own pen, and he shares co-credits on Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd just to name a few. Check out Dzian Gallery’s latest exhibit, Chuck Jones Animation Art, on display through May 31 and soak in a career that spanned 60 years of over 300 animated films, three Oscars and an honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement. For me, nothing sounds more exciting this weekend than a night of both Hot Rods and Rockabilly over at Ralph’s. Trickstah Promotions presents a Hot Rod show by day, rockin’ show at night with the 100% Kulture Hot Rod & Kustom show at Ralph’s Chadwick Diner on Saturday, May 23.
