FRIDAY

'Tis a sweet story: And the folks at The Stepping Stone Community Theater (Singh Performance Center, 50 Douglas Road, Whitinsville) want to share it with you. The play in question is titled Many Moons, after a short story of the same name by James Thurber. It's the tale of Princess Lenore and her fascination with the moon. The show takes place tonight (7-9 p.m.), then again on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. One special aspect of this production is that Stepping Stone is one of only a handful of theatre companies in the United States whose members include individuals with and without disabilities. It is an inclusive theater company that invites, welcomes and supports all members of the community to explore theatre arts, including teens and young adults who share a passion for the arts. For more information, visit www.communitygateway.org or call 508-842-1065.

SATURDAY Image

Who says you can't get anything for free? Certainly not our friends at That's Entertainment (244 Park Ave.), where they're giving our free comics to everyone who walks in the door today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.. Why? Because famous creators and artists will be on hand to sign autographs and sell their artwork. Come in and meet Peter Laird, half of the original creative team behind the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He'll be joined by young adult novel painter Greg Ruth and Disney artist Mark Marderosian. If you're into comics, don't miss this free event. You won't get the chance to meet this much talent under one roof very often, so take advantage of it. For more information, visit www.thatse.com or call 508-755-4207.

SUNDAY

Remembering Tom: We're still mourning the passing of Worcester artist and peace activist Tom Lewis, and today there is a memorial Mass and celebration of Tom Lewis's life, to be held from 2-4 p.m. at The Mustard Seed Catholic Worker (93 Piedmont St.). The celebrant is the Rev. Bernie Gilgun. For more information call the SS. Francis and Therese Catholic Worker at 508-753-3588.
