By Chet Williamson Gasbag David Suarez, 34, of 5 Ripley Place, Worcester, was arrested in Framingham last week after assaulting his wife as they argued over who was going to pay for gas. The incident occurred at a Gulf station on Rte. 9 in front of the couple's three children and a station full of customers. Lt. Paul Shastany said police were called to the scene of a "domestic dispute." Several witness say that Suarez was seen slapping his wife across the face. He denies it. When police tried to question the pair, Shastany says, "The woman was upset and the children were crying and Suarez was agitated and intoxicated. She said an argument occurred about the payment for gasoline. He badgered her and slapped her in the face with an open hand in front of their kids." According to The MetroWest Daily News Suarez was charged with domestic assault and battery. Jerk interview The Courtyard by Marriott in Marlboro was the scene of a bizarre incident recently. Thomas Minichiello was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a woman at the hotel. Police records state that Minichiello attacked the woman, and dragged her back into one of the rooms as she tried to escape — running to the front desk naked for help. According to Marlboro Police Chief Mark Leonard, the woman did not know Minichiello, 55, of 285 Main St., Groveland. "She went there thinking it was for something like a job interview or survey," he said. Under the pretense of an evaluation for his company, Minichiello admitted to conducting a "physical" on the unsuspecting woman. Police say the man touched her "inappropriately." The incident was also reported in The Marlborough Enterprise, which noted that Minichiello was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older, one count of assault to rape, one count of intimidating a witness and one count of assault and battery. o All information taken from public records, published reports and court proceedings.
