• Planning sweetie day: Here are a few things to consider for Valentine's Day. The Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston is preparing a special brunch buffet for you and your loved ones. The menu includes assorted pastries, fresh fruit, cheese, scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon and sausage, omelet station, waffle station, carving stations, desserts and more. This event is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, and costs $23.95 for adults, $20.95 for seniors and $14.95 for kids under 12. Call 508-869-9900, ext. 43, for reservations. The Vienna Historic Inn and Restaurant in Southbridge, too, is planning an a la carte menu on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5-10 p.m. It includes beef medallions Rossini — gorgonzola-stuffed and wrapped with Black Forest bacon — chicken and leek dumplings, colossal shrimp cocktail, oysters Rockefeller, vegetarian strudel, fried Camembert cheese, soup and salad. The entrée selections include roasted duckling, sliced tenderloin of beef, maple-crusted Dijon salmon, stuffed Maine lobster, baked stuffed shrimp, chicken cordon bleu and Jaeger Schnitzel cutlet with mushroom sauce. Visit www.thevienna.com for a full description of the menu, and to make reservations. The Asa Waters Museum in Millbury hosts Sweet Remembrances, where you can enjoy a selection of sweets chosen for the event. This is just desserts — so save room after dinner elsewhere for decadent cakes, sweet favorites, coffee and tea. It's $15 each from 6-8 p.m. Call 508-865-0855.
