All of a sudden, this mayors race is looking very ordinary and expected.

Earlier this morning, Grace Ross announced in front of City Hall that she was out of the mayoral campaign.

"I am going to put myself in the best position I believe I can make the greatest contribution from," Ross said.  "That is NOT for now the Mayor."

Ross' move is a bit unexpected; she said she didn't want to play the "take down" game against other candidates like it was a "high school popularity contest."

And yesterday, Kate Toomey and Michael Perotto both made it official that they are out of the race.  The only TBD left is Gary Rosen, who has his press conference later this afternoon.

Not counting Rosen, the race, as it stands now, is incumbent Konnie Lukes against Rick Rushton and darkhorse Bill Coleman.  Aside from Coleman, who will add a new voice to the mix, that's pretty much the race people expected from the beginning.
